One of the most popular places to study abroad? Argentina! This amazing country has so much to offer those who visit, whether they are on vacation or on a study program. There are high school programs, semester programs, summer programs, internships, work study programs and even volunteer opportunities. Argentina is the eighth biggest country in the world, and is home to a diverse range of languages, cultures and so much more. There is just something special about Argentina, from the cuisine to the colorful, warm atmosphere.
During your study time in Argentina, you will see architecture that dates back to the turn of the century. There are quaint open air cafes, boulevards lined with green trees and the sounds of live music. It is this type of scene you will find in the capital of Buenos Aires. There are so many historical periods to explore here, from native and indigenous to modern times. From small villages to big cities Argentina has it all for students to explore. There are many things to do in this country besides study as well. Sports, dancing, hanging out at coffee shops and adventuring into nature are a handful of popular activities.
You may be wondering what you can study in Argentina. The better question is, what can't you study? There are many subjects that are ideal for overseas study in this gem of a country. The government of Argentina is much like the United States. It is a large country with six distinct regions. There are various ecosystems in the country so you can go from tropical weather to snow. When it comes to study abroad, Argentina welcomes most students to Pampas, a popular region. This is the best region for most every type of study. Not only is the region conducive to your education, it is a great place to meet new people and have lots of fun engaging in local activities outside of school.
