In the world of foreign study, there are all kinds of subjects which can be studied overseas. For some students there are work study programs where you practice nursing under a supervisor with real patients. Any hospital or doctor's office you were to apply with would see that you have been overseas to study nursing and this would count as a plus on your application or resume. It is not mandatory for nursing students to participate in foreign study. Therefore, the ones that do demonstrate a willingness to go above and beyond the minimum and stretch themselves academically.
